Hello crowdholders,

We know that there are many crypto lovers here who are happy to discuss the best altcoins, blockchain projects, decentralization and other intriguing topics. And we also want to start some discussion rolling and even make a post out of it!

We propose you to brainstorm a little bit and come up with the ideas about the spheres for blockchain technology to expand. Banking, insurance, and financial spheres are obvious answers, but could you come up with some unexpected, or even shocking opportunity to use blockchain? The best submissions will be used in our medium blog – on top of that, we won’t forget anyone’s contribution and list the names of co-authors in the post. This way we are all truly involved in co-creation!

You should write about possible applications for blockchain technology, how you see this technology in 5 or 10 years, in which ways and in what spheres it can be used. Focus on not obvious spheres: for example, you can think about how to use blockchain in healthcare, environment, elections, or any other non-financial fields.

Please write at least 100 words to be included in our medium blog post. If you have your medium username to tag you, share it in the comments as well.

These are some inspirational quotes to go in the right direction with your thoughts. ;)

“Bitcoin is just one example of something that uses a blockchain. Cryptocurrencies are just one example of decentralized technologies. And now that the Internet is big enough and diverse enough, I think we will see different flavors of decentralized technologies and blockchains. I think decentralized networks will be the next huge wave in technology. The blockchain allows our smart devices to speak to each other better and faster.”

Melanie Swan, author of “Blockchain: Blueprint for a New Economy by Swan, Melanie (2015) Paperback”

"Blockchain solves the problem of manipulation. When I speak about it in the West, people say they trust Google, Facebook, or their banks. But the rest of the world doesn’t trust organizations and corporations that much — I mean Africa, India, the Eastern Europe, or Russia. It’s not about the places where people are really rich. Blockchain’s opportunities are the highest in the countries that haven’t reached that level yet.”

– Vitalik Buterin, inventor of Ethereum

“Blockchains for all What are these enthusiasts on about? The ‘blockchain’ technology behind bitcoin could prove to be an ingredient of an entire new world of technology, as big as the internet itself, a wave of innovation that drives the middleman out of much commerce and leaves us much more free to exchange goods and services with people all over the world without going through corporate intermediaries. It could radically decentralise society itself, getting rid of the need for banks, governments, even companies and politicians.”

– Matt Ridley, author of “The Evolution of Everything: How New Ideas Emerge”

Many people think about Bitcoin when they are talking about blockchain. Logical because it has been frequently in the news. The blockchain technique has actually remained quite unexposed.

Blockchain technology replaces the trusted intermediary with a network of computers. In fact, blockchain is a public database containing the accounting for every transaction that has ever been done. A new transaction is always stringed to the existing data blocks of transactions as a chain. Hence the name blockchain.
Because the entire network keeps a copy of the blockchain that is constantly being refreshed, fraudulent transactions are to be noticed directly by the system. What makes Blockchain so attractive and popular is that the technology can be used for any type of appointment or transaction.
This makes it possible to establish all sorts of systems using data centrally or locally, to create operations and contracts and to share these without limits.
I think artificial intelligence is going to grow very fast utilizing blockchain and the ability to link data systems worldwide.
There are countless applications to think of and it allready did explode in a major grow of offerings, compagnies, coins and tokens.

At the moment it is difficult to distinguish between the hype and real life applications. We have experienced this before with the internet hype.
It will take some time until the hype translates to worldwide adoption but blockchain is here to stay.

The Blockchain is still in its infancy and is yet to be explored more deeply. It is like now as was the Internet in the 90's. I envision that anything which directly or indirectly supports transparency and honesty (immutability / manipulation) is bound to face some hiccups and struggles in the initial stages but as time passes it will strongly establish its roots and flourish. No element can stop it. It can and should be used in the finance, legal and revenue sectors, because these are the areas where lots and lots of idiotic things happen.

Blockchain technology promises a future where everyone is a participant-- this is now a global economy, a single, united network where everyone plays a part. This era of the internet and connectivity is about to be projected into a form no one could have predicted. Blockchain is just the first step, too. Imagine where we can go from there; the possibilities and reaches that blockchain has is infinite, and with that, so too are the technologies to follow. Now, the power is really back in the hands of the people and in time we won't ever be able to remember a period in which this groundbreaking revolution never existed.

I envision a blockchain project working as a clearing house for data requesters and data collectors. A data requester would submit contracts to collect pricing data from specific stores at specific rewards within a certain frame. Data collectors would use smart phone apps to claim a contract, go to the store and collect the specified data. If the data collector meets the conditions of the contract they would receive the rewards. Using a fixed supply token would create an environment where data requesters would need to purchase tokens from the market to create contracts. This would create a gig economy for data collectors and give workers more flexibility on when and where they work. Individuals maintaining a decentralized network could receive a small percentage of each contract that is cleared.

Awesome topic!

Blockchain is extremely powerful in two aspects:
1. The technology is great for huge amounts of data, stored safely and immutably;
2. Decentralising decision making and removing a huge administrative burden through smart contracts.

Because of this its use cases are essentially limitless! From sci-fi scenarions of enabling awesome Machine Learning and Artificial Consciousness by storing and accessing huge amounts of data easily through logistics, law-making and policy, charity, proof of ownership etc. The list is practically endless.

However, for me the first fields to access blockchain technology and perfect it, will be:
- Finance (as we have seen);
- Logistics and supply chain;
- Data storage and mining practices;
- Tokenization of assets and tokenization of personal revenue;
- Digital identity

Although the technology can be adopted quickly for other topics, such as law, democratic voting and parliamentary voting, proof of authentication, proof of ownership and charity - I doubt it will because the necessary political, social and legal shifts haven't occurred yet. First, we'll need to adopt blockchain in everyday life and trust it before we can embark on any further journeys of decentralization.

We have had the internet for over 30 years but we still don't have internet voting in most countries - not because we don't have the tools but for lack of trust. With blockchain, I see the same. We will be developing, funding and using tech that we're comfortable integrating blockchain with first, until social and political ideas about blockchain and crypto shift and only then will we begin to go more radical towards decentralisation of politics, democratic processes, ownership and money.

I do both things that measure our entire World => UX & TA

I believe in 5 or 10 years, or after this market is fully regulated and adopted worldwide, any application will be blockchain integrated, governments will be truly democratic and organisations will be fully transparent no matter their size are. Think about it for a second, it's crazy to think we don't need banks, governments, organizations, companies or even politicians! We need all of that but we need it honest and sincere, and with blockchain this could really happens. So my point is that the world doesn't need to change that much, over the years humanity had built great things and solved great problems and each lead to another goal or challenge, and in few years some of those things will be evolve to be better.

I work in a data visualization company, the accuracy and correctness of data must be truth. With The Blockchain technology data will be become more valid, permanent and transparent to get results the data visualization.

But, thi is stil new brand technology that needs to improvement of innovation more better in the future.

Blockchain has the choices to chop in middle man price between startups and corporations on the information front.
The future of cryptocurrencies won't be clear, however the blockchain technology has already verified itself and huge enterprises like Berkshire married woman, Alphabet, Apple et al. have already endowed vital resources in suburbanised innovations. There area unit many reasons why this is often the case, however most notably victimisation blockchain would permit these firms to chop prices, increase transparency and security.
Using blockchain innovation, manufacturers will distinguish the primary wellsprings of merchandise, conveyances, and creation exercises at some point of a production network administration method. this may change traditional shoppers to affirm the wellspring of merchandise and things that they purchase, which may go way toward pushing back on faux things or distorted foodstuffs.
I know regarding blockchain since last year and I know that Blockchain is that the future.It simply want mass adoption we have a tendency to might ne'er proverbial the primary deep-mined bitcoin will produce a giant business for everybody. With blockchain, we can do everything!

Many problems have come up to the interweb and the world, one of the main problems is the trust between every user, blockchain has developed a lot and as I envision it in the future, it could help us secure our all our important properties whether in or out the web, keeping our house titles and business secured while keeping tracks on our expenses. It could give us ease in life by collecting the right data to avoid any stealing and manipulation.

Since the AI is now a booming innovation in the society and with the help of blockchain technology it could also help people with mental illness by keeping tracks on their emotion and give them the way to cope with their problem.

I work in business intelligence for a large wholesale and retail company in the United States. One problem we have is creating pricing strategies for thousands of SKUs/products. Having a rich and up-to-date pricing information of competitors would be very helpful to making decisions on pricing products at our locations, and I think that blockchain technology would be a good way to decentralize the collection of information and speed up the delivery of information to clients.

A nice opportunity for blockchain is in getting data on large amounts of people without the need to buy from large companies. I consider cryptocurrencies as the currency of the people, where everyone can make all these payments in all independences, and the day when it will democratize much more, it will be necessary to be wary of the banking system which will try to appropriate this technology. This is just the tip of the iceberg as it's potential is ridiculously huge and most likely will put traditional middlemen out of business within the next years, even. I am very grateful to find a community here, devoting ideas and opinions about the crypto project.

The vitality part is likewise worth making reference to. For example, Power Ledger is a task that utilizes blockchain as an answer that enables clients to exchange electric power with each other in return for crypto installments. The Power Ledger stage that empowers blockchain sun oriented vitality administration enables clients to offer overabundance vitality holds in sun oriented boards for the benefit. This could curtail the expert of go-betweens and power suppliers, as clients would work in a domain wherein vitality can be shared among each other in a straightforward way.

I always tell my friends that Blockchain is the future.It just need mass adoption We could never known the first mined bitcoin can create a big business for everyone. Blockchain is still so young that we are still on developing parts. I believe after we pass this development part we will see a rapid attraction from other people. Combination of Artificial intelligence and blockchain will be like a perfect marriage :)

The great thing about blockchain is that is gives power to the masses. That's something that sounds like a popular line, but in this case really true. An entity that would like to harm the system needs more than 50% of the votes or mining power. So the bigger blockchain becomes, the harder this will be. So that way we can get our hands on all kind of statistics or lock information in a way that's unmutable without having to rely or trust any government or global institution that can be corrupted by the amount of power this position holds.
A nice opportunity for blockchain is in getting data on large amounts of people without the need to buy from large companies. Get the data right from the source: "The people".

A very nice idea for example is the ability to sell your voice for voice reconition software. If a company needs data like this, it's hard to find for a startup. Public data is very limited en the kind that is available won't be exactly what you need. The cost for purchasing this specific kind of data would be very high. But blockchain makes it possible to get this kind of info directly from the crowd and in exaclty the format you are looking for. But on the other side, for people that record their voices, will also keep it safe until it's payed for by the companies interested in the data. Now this could work for a lot of other markets as well and could bring great opportunities. Creating safe transactions between supply and demand.

You don't need to use blockchain to get data from "the people", otherwise crowdsourcing would have not existed before bitcoin and to be fair every tech company in existence is trying to collect data from users whenever they can, from startups to Google and Facebook. Futhermore you are also not making any distinctions between public, private and hybrid blockchains, so I guess what you are trying to say is that bitcoin is cool for solving the double-spending problem.

Blockchain-technology is about to include the world's unbanked to the financial system. After financial inclusion comes inclusion in any other system, and it's already working. Decentralized workspace platforms such as Bounty0x, Crowdholding and more are already helping people outside today's financial system out of poverty. This is just the tip of the iceberg as it's potential is ridiculously huge and most likely will put traditional middlemen out of business within the next years, even.

Our technology is upgrading and improving and also our demand also. We are obsess for an easier and reliable work. And that is the creation of blockchain. Traditional Banking have been upgraded and with the use of the cryptocurrency it became is to use and more secured. And that is just one of the example of our society now.

Bitcoin and Etherium the Parent of Cryptocurrency. In which it supports and give chance other token to grow. Just like a parent they help other cryptocurrency and token to stand and grow.

In 22th century to 23th century this will be the possible outcome to our society and the cryber world will be what you have been imagine. The Cryptocurrency Era in which money is not already used. This will be the era of the full technology. We will not gonna used money for buying and selling instead we will used cryptocurrency. In the store people will just gonna scan a code in able to pay. No robbery will gonna occured in the supermarket, market or anyting because it is in the cryptocurrency. Workers will not gonna payed in money but payed by cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency will be our new money. We will all gonna used this cryptocurrency for every action. Cryptocurrency the money of our future.

I really think that the blockchain will be one of the most significant revolutions of the 21st century. Indeed, allow all payments without going through a bank and paying a minimum fee (when we see that for several million sold ethereum, the costs rose to less than a dollar, we believe dream!).

In addition to these advantages, I consider cryptocurrencies as the currency of the people, where everyone can make all these payments in all independences, and the day when it will democratize much more, it will be necessary to be wary of the banking system which will try to appropriate this technology. In any case, I am proud to be part of this beautiful and innovative human adventure.

The last thing I wanted to add is the extraordinary character of the blockchain for everything that is traceability that remains inviolable and extremely fast which gives it a significant advantage in many areas: agriculture trade ...

Blockchain technology is a decentralized digital ledger that keeps immutable records of transactions. It maintains a network of computers working together as well as independently, to keep and verify records in such a way that once a record has been written and accepted by all the computers in the network, it cannot be altered. It therefore provides a means to record, certify, and transfer assets without needing to rely on a bank, or other middlemen.

Blockchain technology can be used in the development of artificial intelligence. Especially the development of robots and artificial intelligence. In this way, the development of humanity will accelerate. Thanks to the decentralization structure, developers will reach investors more easily. Artificial intelligence and the development of robotic systems will pave the way for humanity to make space travel.
I think that artificial intelligence is the business of the future. The decentralization structure will accelerate the development of the system.
In this way, more ideas will be developed, scientists will reach investment easily.
Silicon valley-like places in the world will multiply. People who need investment in all continents will be able to reach investors through this structure.

Building Better Businesses Together!

The future of cryptocurrencies might not be clear, but the blockchain technology has already proven itself and large enterprises like Berkshire Hathaway, Alphabet, Apple and others have already invested significant resources in decentralised innovations. There are several reasons why this is the case, but most notably using blockchain would allow these companies to cut costs, increase transparency and security.

An interesting application can be seen in the Education, Agriculture and Human Resource sectors.

When it comes to universities, blockchain technology can support:

- Corporate Learning: Recording and storing employee training history.
- Credentials: Learning certifications and degrees could be stored on the blockchain, fixing the problem of determining authenticity.
- MOOCs: MOOCs are decentralised by design. Adding course material, certifications, and more to the blockchain would seem to be the logical step in their evolution.

In Agriculture, blockchain can:

- Help insurance companies in tracking the actual drought and fire at times of crop failure. Thereby it removes fraud claims of crop failure. It will help in auto initiation of payments using smart contracts written in blockchain. Also IOT can be integrated.
- Help consumers track the products providing trust. Helps them to identify the source of products.

In Human Resources, the technology can be used for:

- Talent acquisition: Verifying candidates’ background info and assessing their potential.
- Payroll and mobility: Cross-border payments become a critical topic for HR departments.
