Hello Guys,

Recently on telegram we had a discussion about moving our token onto more exchanges. Ethan Clime wrote publicly with one of our stakeholders and the discussion was the following:

Via Telegram:

Stakeholder: “Hi @ethanclime I partly understand limiting the exchanges to help authenticate liquidity from CH customers vs traders but what do you risk by increasing the amount of exchanges that list yup and increasing liquidity from them? In my mind I’m thinking real project, strong team… A multi listing will result in higher visibility/usability and further incentivize believers to hodl?

Ethan Clime response: “You make some good points. Right now we have one team in our company that supports businesses through services allowing us to keep runway afloat. In fact their sales will soon have us break even with our expenses. The rest of the team is focused on product and business functions. My fear is diving and paying for new exchanges at this time, which could result in not sustaining volume, has us get delisted from these exchanges and lose out on costs which I would prefer to use to speed up development and business operations. In addition, when we hit market fit and can scale fast both projects placing tasks and users, the yup cycle can bring our tokenomics in full bloom. Thus timing more exchanges at this time as well as a crypto recovery will be more beneficial to invest in going on more exchanges. However, we could spread ourselves on some free exchanges, but the question is, would free or very small cost exchanges do its justice and increase total volume of trading? Or would we waste time by having no impact? It may be worth consider trying this, but I would prefer keeping the focus to make product succeed for the future.”

Stakeholder response: @ethanclime First, thank you for your visibility and transparency. Of course these are just ideas from the investment side and the interest of seeing the project gain more attention. ///would free or very small cost exchanges do its justice and increase total volume of trading? Or would we waste time by having no affect?/// I like the calculated growth, historically I’d say that the community is the catalyst and that if you can list on other exchanges (free or small cost) it does help validate the project at least in the eyes of investors or people that hold the coin. You already have a working platform which is light years ahead of many heavily traded currencies. I say if it’s free/low cost and credible exchange list it. There’s things out of our control, ie. market manipulation which can happen with every coin but you’re garner more of the long term believers, platform users like me 😉 that know this project has so much potential that it doesn't make sense to sale in the short term. Just my thoughts and thanks for your response. Best of luck and either way I’m along for the ride and happy I discovered this in it’s infancy.

Ethan Clime’s response: “That logic makes sense, although can’t guarantee much speed on a listing strategy, I’ll look at capacity with my team and see if I can find some time to look into free exchanges/low cost to be listed, preferably DEX exchanges which I am more of a fan of. So I will keep it on my radar. Cheers.”

So there you have it, we liked the logic of the fellow stakeholder thus this task is dedicated to making sure the free/low cost exchanges we choose are approved and looked into by our community. We don’t want to make a mistake on listing ourselves on a poor exchange. Thus vetting the list below from you all will be a great help and allow us to expand without coughing up costs as we need to use every penny to building our product.

Crypto exchanges that allow free listing from community vote:

Crypto exchanges with relatively low fees depending on a coin, business model etc:

Do you suggest any free/low cost exchanges you might have heard about? What do you think of the ones we found, in your eyes do they look legit? We look forward to your feedback!

I recommended
binance exchange
Binance is a popular Chinese cryptocurrency exchange, which is popular for its crypto to crypto exchange services. While the company is still fairly new on the market, it has managed to gain a lot of popularity, thanks to its impressive low trading fees. Currently, Binance has a 0.1% trade fee. Ultimately, the Binance tokens (BNB) can be used to reduce fees for trade costs and commissions and 50% of the trading fees can be reduced when trading fees are paid in terms of Binance tokens.

Positive:
Very fast & high capacity trading functionality.Supports 13 different languages.Although Binance has experienced several attacks, such as manipulation of prices via their API, they've taken steps to resolve these very quickly and publically (some exchanges are very secretive in this scenario, which can lead to a loss of public trust).

Negative:

Not as easy to use as exchanges like CEX or Coinbase. Many users have reported slow proof of identity verification, some reporting this to take as long as 2 months. We've seen many reports of account funds being stolen from users, but not much proof of this. It may just be due to human error by accidentally sharing things like withdraw-access API keys.

Medium is the message, but it also distorts the message. I solve this!

First of all, everybody pointing at Kucoin. The community vote would be a way to get on Kucoin for free, but that's not a secure and certain way. Registration to Kucoin costs 5 BTC. And that's not a cheap solution imo. Let's not even start talking about Binance. I don't know what you consider cheap. But let's say everything below 6000 USD / 1 BTC is affordable.

So here are my suggestions:
- Crypto Bridge (very upcoming, DEX) - 0.5 BTC but in some cases can go up to 6 BTC, depends a bit I guess.
- Bibox - supposedly no charge, as long as your project provides lots of details about the business
- YoBit - 0.5 BTC
- IDEX - quality criteria = free submit
- Radar Relay - requires to be 0x protocol compatible, utility tokens only, no / little fee
- Bancor Network - utility tokens only, ERC20 compliant, no ERC233 / ERC827, no fee

Optional exchanges (no info about fees)
- Kyber Network Exchange

Do you see any structure here? IDEX, Radar Relay, Bancor...? Yes, they are all DEX. Decentralized Exchanges are the future for trading in crypto. Getting your coin on there is relatively easy, as long as you can convince them that your product is solid, strong and long term.

I suggest Kucoin. It is promising exchange for near future.

I'll probably agree with users that kucoin is more convenient and with a good reputation. I could also suggest mecratox

I do both things that measure our entire World => UX & TA

I suggest trying first with CoinEx that is drawing more and more attention, also Cobinhood are super fast with listing coins.
I'm familiar with both Ethfinex and Liqui, I thing the minimum to be considered is volume of €1M.

"Instant Listing is a smart and easy way to get your ERC-20 tokens listed on COBINHOOD Exchange within 1 day and 1 click. We all know how hard starting a new company and project is, and providing liquidity to a new token is even harder. Instant Listing is the ultimate way to solve your problems."

I agree with Elric so often it's becoming disturbing. This is a bit of a chicken-egg dilemma question. The news you see about random crypto pumping hard when they get listed on a new exchange is mostly pump and dump groups fleecing newguys. Crypto isn't useful because it can be traded on many exchanges, crypto has to have its own use. This is a category where you need to put in a lot of work. Right now YUPs can only be used to exchange for a few cents. If your platform starts delivering value then it grows and people start noticing it. When people start noticing it the demand will shoot up, with demand the volume will shoot up and exchanges will be asking you to list, like they should , not the other way around.

Right now I'm fairly certain CH wouldn't be able to win the listing contest on either Binance or Kucoin. A lot of community work to be done yet.

kucoin would be a good option, you could also list for free in coinex and recently I found an exchange that looks quite promising called satoexchange.

I think KuCoin, Binance, Bancor and a new Kryptono are really good for new tokens and coins. They have really low fee structure. Many people are aware about these exchanges and they trust them. Another positive thing is these exchanges are easy to use due to well designed User Interface.

I think you should to be listed in some new popular exchanges like Kryptono Exchange.

Having more than 5 years of crypto experience!

I think you have to be listed also in the biggest decentralized exchanges like Etheredelta/Forkdelta and Idex. I think that they list the ERC20 tokens for free or for a small fee, but they are trusted by a large crypto community. In addition, you have to plan for listing your token in the most known exchanges like Kucoin and Binance.

Just take a look at my past contributions to projects; you will see value there.

As always, your transparency is fantastic and should be applauded. It is the #1 reason why I have supported you guys since ICO days.

Out of the exchanges you listed the only one I new about was ethfinex. After going through and looking at them all, I can say is, "meh."

It might sound like I'm playing both sides, but I think Ethan and Cryptoalchemi are both correct. While listing on free or low fee exchanges can validate it for the users, in the current state of things I 100% believe (ok, well, 99% believe...) that it will be just like a couple months ago when we were trying to push to be listed on some exchanges only to have them fall flat on their faces; Ethan's worries come from real life happenings that were relatively recent.

The timing is still just not right. I still believe that a concentrated media push timed along with implementation of the YUP cycle coinciding with new listings will be the catalyst to really get this baby rolling. Overall market conditions are looking to be more favorable come Q4 so everyone wins!

My suggestion is coming from a consumer perspective. I have not heard of any of the above mentioned exchanges and probably would not use them. I am currently using Kraken and Binance to purchase Crypto. I really don't see a need for me to use anything else in the near future. I love both of these exchanges for information, options, and access to alts. I understand the need for you to find a low cost exchange to list on but if it is an exchange that has low usage/trust then it won't help someone like me find you.

Lowest Fees / Trusted Exchanges
CoinbasePro - While Coinbase Pro only focuses on the big 3 (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin), the fees are a standard 0.25% taker & 0% maker type structure. The advantage that I give to Coinbase Pro is that it is connected to Coinbase which gives you some great ease of use in transfer of funds to an exchange account with no fee at all and if you go with a maker order you are sitting pretty!

BitMex- Rising to the top of my list VERY quickly is Bitmex. They have a very low fee of just 0.25% for makers, but the real reason this has become the hottest exchange out there is because of their 100x leverage for Bitcoin trading. If you don't know what margin trading is or why it can be profitable see my article about margin trading & leverage here.

Binance - This is a hot place for trading altcoins and their trading fees are LOW! Just 0.1% fee for trades and it can be even lower if you use their Binance coin that is built into the platform. This is my NUMBER ONE place to trade right now.
Square Cash App - When a major player like Square steps up people take notice. They finally added the ability for everyone to buy & sell Bitcoin directly from their app with ZERO (0%) trading fees! This vaults them near the top of my list for buying Bitcoin specifically.

CEX.io - The UK based CEX.io makes the list because while most of the exchanges have a standard fee of 0.25%, they only charges 0.20% per trade! That combined with a solid user interface & being one of the longest running exchanges make it a winner in my book. They are also one of the few places you can cash out to fiat similar to Coinbase. They DO accept US customers too!

I would suggest Binance and COBINHOOD! Both are understandable to me so anyone should be able to use them and they are free/cheap.

Don’t see any reason to be on too many exchanges, prefer the legit, stable, well known exchanges that give more show of legitimacy than just any and every exchange out there.

World’s Top 5 Cryptocurrency Exchanges With The Lowest Fees.

Lowest Fees / Trusted Exchanges:
BitMart Exchange— BitMart is a cryptocurrency exchange that offers unique features like decentralized trading, futures contract trading, and spot trading across all major cryptocurrencies. BitMart is charging 0% trading fees. Currently, there are 18 trading pairs available now. Some of them are: BMX/ETH, XLM/ETH, MOBI/ETH. More coins and tokens will be listed soon.

Fees: https://support.bitmart.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002043633-Fees
CEX.io — The UK based CEX.io makes the list because while most of the exchanges here have a standard fee of 0.25%, CEX.io only charges 0.20% per trade! That combined with a solid user interface make it a winner in my book.

Poloniex — One of the most popular exchanges, Poloniex offers a ton of coins to trade and is built on rock solid technology. They have a 0.25% taker & 0.15% maker fee. This is the only exchange out of my top 5 I don’t have any experience trading on though.

Bittrex — Another big US player in the exchange market is the Las Vegas based Bittrex. They have an across-the-board 0.25% fee for trading and do a ton of volume.

Binance — Binance is a China-based cryptocurrency exchange that gives users access to a robust set of trading tools, charts and security features. Following a successful initial coin offering (ICO), Binance began live trading in July 2017.

Downloading the Binance mobile app or creating an account online is completely free. Making deposits to Binance in any supported currency is also free. You may incur a fee when withdrawing funds from Binance, although fees vary depending on the currency.

If i'm honest i don't see anything coming from adding exchanges like this right now.

Positive:
- Another option to buy, if i don't like idex. I like ddex.

- Something with lower fees would be nice.

- More visibility, might not be a positive sight they will see.

- Investors who are looking for a quick buck like it.(is this positive? i don't know)

- Might cause a small bump in price for one day. Nothing sustainable.

Negative:
- Liquidity spread over two or more exchanges.

- Image of low liquidity coins, maybe even forced delistings. All exchanges are having a hard time keeping volume in trading. This creates a lot of dead exchanges and ghostlistings. Like a lot of useless shitcoins have. But even good coins struggle. If i want to buy on there i either wait to long or i pay to much.

- I believe cost can be better spend in other ways to promote crowdholding. I think the most important part is community growth and getting the yup cycle up. First get the value to sustain itself. Besides that, i don't think CH is like other projects. CH has a unique environment with this platform to create it's own name, lagacy and value. To let the platform grow is the best way to create value. I would like to talk more exchanges when we grow.

- The price will crash just as hard after the small bump, if it happens at all. These days i see a lot of listings for coins, but they is not really effected. People expect to be able to "sell the news". If the price doesn't move, the people that were looking for quick cash will dump it anyway and be disappointed.

Besides that i believe in the project and i'm not only earning and not selling, but buying as well. The team is working hard on some cool new stuff, but don't lose vision of where they want the core of the team to focus on. https://www.facebook.com/Crowdholding/videos/2267475776601337/ is very interesting to watch.

Listing fees or trading fees? Also is yup an erc20 token? If so, I would suggest Kyber network and Bancor. Both have no fees for trading except for etherium network gas. Another option is Idex. (I am not sure about listing fees). If not erc20, I like Cobinhood, which has no trading fees, but I would have to check into listing fees, if that is what you are referring to.

- Yup is indeed an erc20 token.

Great task. Of all of these Liqui would be my top pick followed by Ethfinex. Better GUI's, trading features, and fee transparency. However I don't see this making a significant impact unless yup is with a larger more credible exchange.

I'd also look into exchanges like Coinexchange.io, Mercatox.com, Tidex.com, Coinfalcon.com. For the larger exchanges consider how the Crowdholding platform could provide value to them and possibly offer a trade.. ie enlist feedback on your platform for ways to improve and increase usage of the exchange and in turn they list the coin for zero or lower costs.

When Binance? Just kidding. I've looked into Satoexchange, and Fcoin, but there are a ton of them. Not sure how free/low cost they are, but they seem to be popular. It's always good to see a DDos protection when entering the site. The option of using 2-factor authentication on login and withdrawles. Security measures the exchanges take to protect funds/real volume is the biggest make or break for me. Bots are used specifically to artificially raise volume. I'm more of a DEX proponent myself, and prefer using them over centralized exchanges. Binance and Kucoin are exceptions. I like DDex , IDAX, IDEX, ForkDelta. It would be cool if CH had it's own decentralized exchange. Also, I looked at the exchanges you're proposing, and i like a few of them. Ethfinex seems good. It is hard to tell wether they will help the YUP token, as I think the free/low cost exchanges are of much lower quality/less legit. If YUP were voted on, I guess you can't go wrong there. The community is certainly matured enough to have significant voting power. Thanks.
