How can we disrupt patents?
It's considered normal. You have a business idea, now you must pay big bucks and file a patent to protect your idea. In the startup world where funds go to making the idea become a reality, the costs associated with patents usually are left on hold. You wait and cross your fingers that no one will file a patent of your product while you keep building it.
Now lets say, someone just created the patent (a big company for example) after your idea was realized and now they reached out to you and plan to take you to court. Under law, if you can prove you came up with the product/idea before anything was filed, you win the case. But the issue is, the costs associated with hiring lawyers is just too expensive. But what if blockchain could fix this issue where you never needed a lawyer to show up to court?
Give us a solution for which CH could actually consider projects and ideas as recorded evidence for such a scenario. Could tools be built such as script reading smart contracts? What information would be needed in order for projects on our app to protect themselves from litigation?
Decentralized businesses in the future has the potential to disrupt those who stay centralized. This means CH needs to prepare and support the industry from future attacks that are inevitable from businesses too slow to change their business models.
