This may sound cynical, but: When I comment on a task, wouldn't it technically be in my best interest to upvote as little as possible (so, not at all) and try to get as many upvotes as possible to maximise my YUPIES? Don't get me wrong, I still upvote good comments, I just wonder if it would be beneficial to add some kind of incentive to upvoting.

Something with an avatar. My photo appears and disappears constantly. Perhaps it's worth adding the ability to upload profile photos.
And also I'm looking forward to Twitter sharing button for comments here :)

I had the same avatar problem - logging out and back in fixed it for me.

You have a really good product, which is worthy to spend several Saturday hours on reading your projects, tasks and ICO details.
I came here due your Facebook advertising campaign and my expectations were formed by your Robo Rodney's Pitch Youtube video.
I thought, I could find more than 4 active projects (except Yupie ICO) to participate in. I've noticed what Yupie ICO project took 92,44% of all votes. As a potential project holder, I'm not excited to appear among guys who recieve only 7,56% of the community's attention. I guess, that the main reason for that is that other projects don't offer so generous rewards as Yupie ICO do. This is absolutely normal for startup in their death valley phase, then it's easier to share future income or products, than to offer coins for help right now.
My suggestions are:
1) hide votes figures from this screen and encourage startups who participated in beta to become stunning projects again,
2) increase rewards opportunities for projects issuers
3) encourage startupers to enter Stunning projects family. Perhaps, you will need to find the way of reviving Legacy projects. I found many of them indeed awesome.
As a member of a crowd, I was attracted by possibility to enhance my portfolio and thought I'll need to fill in some more information about my expert skills than just 200 characters, or perhaps tag add/select possibility for my skills.

It´s OK

I really miss the "Share" button in the comments. I like tweeting my activity or liked others' comments. This is an extremely necessary tool for serial cat-crowdsourcer like me :) And at the same time it's an excellent tool for more involving new participants in projects, tasks and the platform as a whole. It's probably worthwhile to design an appropriate template for this. For example, you can see how it's done on Product Hunt https://twitter.com/iamcrumplecat/status/919575018975133696

...............YUPIE I HEY YUPIE ICO..............................YOU ARE ON A GOODWAY...................................Hello guys, I think that you are doing just fine. There is no need to change anything.. Believe me, I am catching a mouse 24,5 hours a day, mostly chasing money, to get, to earn.. to get, to give to get back etc.. Then I stumbled upon your site, and here I am, writing a good review.. As I say, YOU ARE ON A GOOD WAY............... Also is a freaking good because we can't delete or correct our comments.. That's the first sign that here everything is permanent and rock solid

I would suggest that your notification system allow to send a text message or an e-mail for every new task and or for all comments (reply) in order to increase the speed of activities on the web site.

I just realized that i would need to delete one of my own comment in another section and i don t think i can. It would be nice to have the option

Also, if you are writing a comment and you are not done and need to finish tomorrow or your computer shutdown cause no more power or what ever is the reason. It would be nice to have a draft mode that keep in memory the last unfinished post

The value of a vote is limited, we can up vote but we can't down vote and there is no 1 to 5 star voting category like in the Amazon website or many others with statistic showing what % has 1 star vote etc. up to 5 star.

Also all comment could be classified by there value and amount of vote. so if a comment has 10 votes and they are all 5 star it will be first vs another comment that could be 5 star with only one vote.

easy one but still pretty good comment

Power is nothing without control

Well you can upvote and remove your vote. Then comments are ordered by votes. If you don't like a comment just don't vote it, and if you think it is offending there is possibility to report it.

Hey all,

On the task page, where we can leave comments, the task descriptions could be more detailed. You may ask the project owners to specify their requirements by adding something like (problem) categories, in the form of tags, just like it is adoped by employment-oriented social networking pages, under the skills sections of profile pages.
Example: Feedback on -
User Interface
Spelling mistakes
Latency
Business model
This would give the community some kind of a guide line or first ideas where to start and look for. And at the same time, you could gather statistics on the types of questions asked by project owners, using insights to tailor your page design to their needs.

Nice suggestions Andre, thanks!

Overall, off to a good start, but needs some dev cycles :-)
- Latency: whole page needs to be faster (consider single-page transitions?)
- Project pages: really need more ways for projects to upload media and background information. Perhaps also a vetted way to represent who's the team behind some idea? Also, more metadata about the funding/YUPIE distribution goals of the project?
- Formatting: comment system needs better preview and some formatting options. Perhaps Markdown? Also, right now formatting/newlines is discarded right after posting but reappears upon a page refresh.

Yeah, Product Hunt does this well, allowing project to upload media and a background. Will definitely be needed. Showcasing teams and the admins of the project makes sense. We have the feature on trello. I agree regarding the comment section. It seems too spread out to me. Needs to be tighter. Just sent my dev guys regarding what you brought up regarding formatting the comment system. Great advice!

I agree with Alexander, in that a bit more media would raise attention.
E.g. I believe that it is quite common to add pictures as kind of a banner on top of the page. They could slide like a diashow.
Also, I would enjoy more about the current status and timeline. This makes it easier to give more tailored feedback as we knew the situation the project team is facing.

Agree, more media options for project teams but also for the crowd.

The ability for the crowd to upload many different media types (easily)would provide far richer data for project teams to progress their development cycle.

I think that more media options for the crowd to provide feedback would increase the value of this platform to project teams, and subsequently increase the value of our community!

Tools such as;
Innovative way to illicit story and narrative from the crowd
UX testing (integration with an application like https://peek.usertesting.com)
Silent brainstorming
