Hello Crowdholders,

We are happy to announce that we finished Stafleet's Accelerator program and presented in Malta at their DemoDay on Thursday, December 12th, 2019. We learned a lot during their program and we are now even more prepared with our product. We plan to launch test net release come January 20th, so stay tuned.

Unfortunately, we were not selected in the top 4 chosen Startups for investment, but the experience alone was well worth it.

By graduating from the program we are part of the Starfleet Alumni and plan to still collaborate and stay in touch with their team.

Now for your task:

Go ahead and watch Ethan's pitch presentation here (go to 29:41 of the stream).

Questions to consider:

What do you think of the Pitch?

Anything we can do to improve?

One thing we should have done in the future is to mention the importance of the Crowdholding partnership in the pitch. This will definitely be added in the future. Considering that, we look forward to hearing your feedback!

Cheers,

CrowdClick Team

Nice job, Ethan! :)

First thing I thought about was this: Show off where you are coming from - your advantage with having CH (and CH user base) behind you - that can be a big part of your competitive advantage in terms of decreasing the user acquisition cost.

Second, I found it a bit disturbing having Riccardo answer some of the questions. While he is the tech guy, I personally would found it more assuring and far less disturbing if you were to answer the tech questions as well on some low-level basis (you can always end it with "And Riccardo can tell you more technical details after our pitch).

Third, I do have 1 or 2 concerns regarding the business itself - during your pitch, I kept thinking to myself how easy it seems right now for bots to make money on your paying users instead of real users. But that's something we can discuss some other time in person :)

All good points from your feedback. Regarding your last feedback comment, options we can use for preventing bots would placing reCAPTCHA in the beginning. However, the bigger we get the more strategic attacks could occur.

Thus Second potential option has to do with mouse movement. Riccardo has developed a way to track user mouse movement, as we will provide a heat map on how the users interact with the landing page to be seen by the publisher (additional QA feature). Using mouse movement could allow us to prevent bot activity potentially because we can identify who is real and who isn't. More thought would need to put into this though.

Third, could involve prediction theory. Having % of crowd answers to identify bots who vote random and not with crowd consensus. Basically the most bogus answers that are voted on can be flagged (3 strikes your out.) More thought would need to be put into this as well.

Bots are an underlining problem with many systems. It's an ongoing fight. What is crucial is to limit it to very low percentages to like 1% of activity and 99% is real users.

Cheers for the feedback!

1. the pitch was good and i think that from the look of things even though we were not selected for the investment, i will say the pitch did give us enough view to attracting more views so from the look of things something will surely come out from this.

2. since there is time and i will say space i will say that more improvements in the plan and more publicity will also help in taking the project to greater heights.

nice work.

Don't forget to use your upvotes. You will earn from that too.

The pitch was good to watch, the setup was made clear. And compared to the other projects you were smart enough to have your best english speaking guy doing the presentation lol. I don't know what to do better as i am not an expert in doing such pitches. It all seemed very clear to me.

On what bases were the top 4 startups selected?

- Can you still apply for other investments (for example, from different VCs) with respect to where Crowdholding has reached? Do you intend to?

- If Crowdclick got a million dollars in investment, how would it be used and how would it scale up?even though we not selected i know that there are better days and better things to come to get more idea about the other programs and see ways also to develop crowdholding and crowdclick.

I am so happy that this project is getting more involved with different aspect of investment looking ahead for more opportunities, i watch the pitch and it was good even though we not selected i know that there are better days and better things to come.

looking forward to the lunch and trying out the main stuff. i don't really know about the recent devs but my only suggestion from the previous tasks was that the 10% cut from the deposit will not be added in the project as it will reduce people from depositing.

very hopeful project.

I watched the presentation over and over again. You made it look so simple. I'm looking forward to the launch in March (I stand to be corrected) so I can participate. Also, I liked how you showed off Galaxia to the whole world! That's some big marketing for free over there. Do they know about it? I think you should let them know if they don't.
With how you neatly executed the presentation and with how feasible this project actually is, I don't know why Crowdclick didn't make the top 4. I have a few questions.

- What were the criteria involved?

- On what bases were the top 4 startups selected?

- Can you still apply for other investments (for example, from different VCs) with respect to where Crowdholding has reached? Do you intend to?

- If Crowdclick got a million dollars in investment, how would it be used and how would it scale up?

For now, these are the questions bothering me. Other than that, I look forward to the launch and yes, Crowdclick deserved to be in the top 4.

Great Presentation Ethan. I loved the way you delivered each and every detail. You were not only pitching but you were educating as well. CC's PPA model is very innovative. Unfortunate we didn't win. Good job.

I personally thought it was an awesome pitch! Sorry you didn't win. Your explanation was very easy to understand and generated what I thought was real interest in the project. Yes, mentioning the importance of the partnership with CH should be done in all future presentations. Having collaborations is a bonus, showing you are willing to work with others and are a true the player

Keep up the great work and don't get discouraged! Remember what you learned and apply it when possible. Looking forward to testnet launch.

i have been following this project from the very beginning and i have seen almost everything from the site. i will say that it is so sad that the project was not chosen for the investment option but i know that great things will surely come out from the project.

the pitch was good and i like the confidence and clarity of the explanation, i think that from this pitch it is possible to get outside investment to the project also.

looking forward to January 20th for the test-net will watch the whole video later on to get more idea about the other programs and see ways also to develop crowdholding and crowdclick.
