Hello Crowdholders,

Today we would like to showcase you our project CrowdClick. The project began On September 28th & 29th at a hackathon in Prague called Hacktothemoon. There our team won the Matic.network track and now we are continuing to work on the product part time. Unfortunately, the hackathon never recorded any of the presentations, so we are not able to showcase it to you from the event. However, Ethan has recorded a 6-minute video showcasing what Crowdclick is all about and where we are in the logic of the project.

Without further ado... Your job for this task:

Watch Ethan's 6-minute recording here.

Give us your first impressions. What do you think?

Thanks!

Cheers,

CrowdClick Team

Great idea! I think it can disrupt the way the companies and people promote theirs websites, first in the blockchain, crypto and Ethereum market. I hope the platform could be used to promote social media posts and profiles too. Thanks and good luck again!

First impressions is it looks great! I'm kind of new to this whole thing but my interest is peaking.

It's a major win-win, who doesn't want to earn rewards especially in ETH. Landing page simply explains it all Click, Answer and Earn. ETH as a reward too is going to be a great attraction.

This is good news to everyone here and also to the new ones to come because this will be another means to generate more value from the crowd.

at first, I thought it was just a normal PTC site like the others that I have see and come across but looking closer at it I saw that there was difference in its function, the "proof of work that was used is like the best i have seen because it is aimed to engage the user with the site and to get his idea on what he just saw with this way more quality value will be created out of every add that is viewed, when compared with the other method of just completing captcha this method is the best there is to it now.

Looking back I will say that some advert work will still have to be done so that many publishers will join the network so that there will always be lot of works (ads to viewed) at the site at every point in time.

this is very good it will increase the power of the crowd of crowdholding, and thus cause also an increase in the value of the crowdholding site and also the crowdholding currency.

Very nice project, and just using the eth address to sign up made it better and easier to be used by both viewers and publisher.

We are waiting for you to finish it up, good job done.

Idea itself seems good, but I do wonder who would be your target group? I wonder why user would not use classic poll on the page, which would be free in comparison to your solution?

Did you actually get some feedback from your target customer group? For idea to really live in real world you would need pretty big publisher base and also good user base. I believe that there will be some crappy users who will just click on any random answer, just to get some money out of it and would not give relevant answers. Maybe it would be good to also think about some rating meter for the users?

agreed. One way is to gamify the answers to showcase their score for the publishers to see. But that makes sense in order to make people truly review and choose their answer. I will be interviewing publishers which is on my to do list. In a way, this task is helping identify potential users and their feedback

Awesome idea, very creative and interesting.

But I definitely think Arkane is a platform I would be interested in!

Its ok as a concept.  I would question the use of etherium since network costs are somewhat high.  I also believe that having a low minimum withdrawal amount would keep people coming back to the site.  Having a choice of coins to withdraw such as litecoin Exc might add to the appeal

Regarding costs for gas, this is why we are using Matic Network which is a side chain that is 1/100th cheaper than ethereum gas fees

My impression right now is good, since I see two quite relevant baselines: on the one hand, I find it useful to reward users for offering quantitative feedback for projects and publisher content, and on the other hand, I see a good option for web developers, businesses and marketing professionals to drive strong traffic to decrease rebound rates and improve SEO.

In conclusion, I support the project because, not only do I see the above but t any kind of reward for time spent is welcome.

Firstly, greetings from Czech Republic. I hope you enjoyed Prague. :)

Regarding your project:

- I love the simple design of your home page. Everything was very easy to undesrtand and informative. One minor criticism is that I didn't realize at the first glance that there is a sign-up option for both regular users and publishers. The motto "Click. Answer. Learn." makes it seem like the page is targeted to regular users only. Meaning - if I were a publisher I would bounce away before I realize I can sign up as a publisher from this page.

- On the home page, in the first panel, the sign-up option for regular users is shown before the option for publisher. However, in the following panel the explanations for the publisher are shown before explanations for the users. It makes the layout confusing.

- Sign-up for user is clear and simple. I love that you can simply add your ETH adress and be ready to go.

- Wireframes that you've shown were all very clear to understand. Seems that the process will go smoothly. The only thing that I might disagree with is giving more reward to people who "guess the public opinion" since it may discourage people from giving their real opinion on some questions. I see that you might want to remove the possibility of random guesses, but maybe it can be given as an option for the publishers to include this feature or disable it.

- Since you mentioned the maximum amount for withdrawal, I'm curious to know if you will add a minimum as well.

Overall, it's a well designed project and I'm looking forward to see your next step!

Just a common Crypto enthusiast.. Wait crypto is not common it's special :)

This sounds really promising. I think this project has a great potential due to following factors:

  • Win-Win approach- offering rewards both to the publishers as well as the users will ensure active participation and a continuously growing user base
  • Learning & Earning- great aspect of this project is users will learn about new upcoming projects and get rewarded at the same time. This will also hel the overall crypto community on the whole.
  • Ethereum- As ethereum is already the 2nd most popular coin after Bitcoin, it will attract a higher number of users as they will consider a ETH based reward more valuable

I love the idea to bits and... congrats on winning the Matic.network track. I love the way you explained everything with mockup designs and I can bet if I watched the video recorded from the hackathon at Prague, I wouldn't have gotten the concept of Crowdclick as clearly as this six-minute video. I have one problem though. You claim this is going to be worked on part-time and at the same time, you're working on Memehunter which is also in its developmental stages. Don't you think this will delay you guys a bit in actualising the project?

Steven and Tim make some very salient points concerning the integration of Crowdclick into Crowdholding. With Crowdholders as the basic or beginning users of Crowdclick, it'd start off with a bang. I'm even sure there are website owners on CH who will gladly use it. Also, considering your partnership with Aeternity, why not involve them in this project to speed it up? I don't really know how these things work, that is, the involvement of AE but if it can be done why not give it a shot? The payment options can include AE tokens as a third option. Similarly, you could consider Brave (or BAT). I just think you guys should capitalise on more leverage in the form of other people's time, efforts, money, partnerships and other resources. You're already doing that but not so much in my opinion. Doing it alone takes a very long time.

I'm looking forward to carrying out my first Crowdclick task.

Hey De Gem, regarding your question with Memehunter, we are putting it on pause for the time being due to a few team members (different developers) not having the time with their current jobs. Although our market research shows there is a market, Crowdclick will be much easier and faster to develop and the current team is highly motivated. That being said, I do plan to go back to that project in the future.

Regarding Aeternity, we think alike. In fact, we are applying to their Starfleet accelerator today! Although we will start out with an MVP using ETH and Matic's side chain, AE support would have us add their token and blockchain to the mix.

One idea we are thinking about is to allow a "Signup with Crowdclick" that would be available on CH. And Crowdclick would have a shared revenue approach with the businesses who connect the CC (Crowdclick) API with a toggle feature. For example you could toggle between CH feedback and CC (Crowdclick). I also see a shared revenue approach concept with our partners CryptoTask, as freelance applications would be perfect to use CC as well. This is just a preliminary idea on how to maximize growth between publishers and users for the project. But something to consider.

This sounds too good to be true! I pray it all works out fine. Such fine ideas. Memehunter can wait.

This can also be integrated with tasks as tasks can also be added to the websites to be viewed to make non crowdholding users be able to indirectly participate in tasks by viewing them and giving the short feedback, with this more resources would be gotten from the tasks.

The Crowdclick concept is one I've been hoping to see implimented on Crowdholding for a while as a Survey type task. Basically, what I envisioned was a tab where you can access gamefied tasks.

Crowdholding links all your information (Hence no need to retyp everything each time you do a new survey); next you can click on the project/survey you want to participate in. An with each answer you give; a little animation of coins raining down into your account happens.

I believe that Crowdclick, as a purely feedback for websites service, is a much to narrow field. But applied on a bigger scale as: "Anyone can put up any survey" type deal, heck yes. There are so many students, companies, marketing agencies, etc. just begging for information... And yes, willing to pay a little bit.

Crowdholding needs to focus on user retention: We need something that keeps people using this website. We need gamification; just click no text type tasks: E.g. "Rank your favorite stores", "click on the brands you know", "which logo do you like more?" etc.

As a test crowdholding should think about this: "How can we create a task, that anyone in the world would understand, and can easily be done on a smarthphone?"

Exactly Steve. Sometimes, having to wait for all these ideas to be incorporated is so painful. In the end, everything takes time.

Retention of users is key. From being part of crowdholding, I see regulars but then I also see one or two timers.

I think it's a great idea. As someone said before me, it takes the model of advertising a la birdchain or even Brave and adds a bit more active component. I believe that will be valuable for the business, because at least the viewer will be engaged enough to try to find the right answer.

Great idea aside, I don't think I'd be a user of crowdclick. One of the reasons I really like crowdholding is because I'm actively using my brain, analysis, critique, and communication skills to earn. I think it's more valuable to the user and to the company paying to receive feedback.

What I wonder the most is what might allow either of these ideas to take off further... I think finding a way to integrate a widget (or maybe by using an extension) so that as a user is browsing they come across "Easter eggs" of opportunities to earn. That way the experience is fully integrated into the sites, apps, or products people use in a daily basis.

Of course, I understand that CH or crowdclick will have to expand significantly to achieve this, but that might happen with one big partnership. Imagine if Facebook, twitter, or Amazon integrated one of these into it's UI. You reach a feature they're testing, a pop up comes up and you have a chance to earn YUP or ETH, and read/vote on other users analysis. That could really be next level for CH.

By watching Ethan's video I have become to know that the Crowdclick project looked very easy and simple to use and to understand what the project is. Thus my first impression was very good . Additionally it would be very useful to publishers, users, and the web developper, which can attract a lot of users. Of course, if I try it, I'll see if there's a complement about it. Anyway Crowclick project looks an unique and very potential to me.

Interesting concept that I would participate in.  It is somewhat similar to Crowdholding, but drives viewers to websites to give feedback.  I think many new websites could use the feed back to make improvements.  And I like that payouts are in Ethereum.  Of course, the major hurdle is adoption.  Can you get enough websites onboard to make the venture worthwhile.  Best of luck in your project.

I have done quite a number of these when I started venturing into crypto so I am not new to this kind of project. What I noticed about CrowdClick is the question after visiting a site. I think that is an upgrade. Most often, people visit sites and just wait for the time to run out and claim their rewards. I love it but will be really interested in the value of ETH rewards. I should be able to know how much I can make within a specific number of days or months by viewing X sites.

Congrats on the track win! It's cool to hear about projects in various blockchain hackathons and then all of a sudden see them pop up on Crowdholding! :)

In general I support any project that rewards me for my time. The video didn't give much to work with aside from showing the basic UX, but I'm looking forward to seeing its evolution.

Bonus points for being able to reward in ETH and not altcoins/utility tokens!

Seems interesting enough.  In many ways like a lightweight version of Crowdholding itself.

Personally this might be something I'd use if it were integrated into Crowdholding (or the Crowdholding ecosystem), but I would be unlikely to use it as a stand-alone app/dapp.  But there will always be a userbase for platforms that offer people the ability to earn online from performing simple tasks, and being that Crowdholding is already somewhat established in that arena, I would imagine it will not be too difficult to entice at least some of CH's users over to the new platform also - If this is indeed a seperate entity?  That part wasn't entirely clear...

Best of luck with it.  :)

Hey Tim, we are definitely considering connecting API's to CH with Crowdclick to allow CH users instant connection. Nice thoughts. Right now the project has no registered company yet. So right now it is a separate project from CH, but will be using CH as an active launchpad. However, I can see us being more and more innovative to bring Crowdclick and CH closer & closer together.

Tim Prior guru

Crypto / Blockchain enthusiast and investor.

Thanks for the reply, Ethan. Good to hear that there are some thoughts towards integration with CH in place. Being that they're fairly similar in scope.

I'm definitely a fan of building upon established foundations where possible. Binance have enjoyed success in this area beyond their exchange by integrating BNB into hundreds of other platforms and ecosystems (even if that has primarily been due to other projects hoping to get listed in return). But also if you look towards Galaxia's recent task in which they announced the idea of integrating YUP into their game, there was obviously some clear approval and excitement surrounding that idea from Crowdholders.

Beyond that it would just be easier and more convenient for me to be able to access this new type of task from my current CH dashboard, rather than having to sign up to something separate, so yes, instant connection at minimum would certainly be beneficial. Regardless though, I'm sure each could benefit the other in terms of cross-promotion, etc. So I look forward to seeing where it goes. :)

This is a god one i have heard and seen some sites like this but have not taken any liking to them before, will love to try it out, since it is a win-win for everyone. But what will the payment structure be like in terms of the ads viewing, and can someone have multiple accounts since it just needs a wallet id for registration.

Nice concept though and nice project, more ways to make crowd holding better.

This is nice i will say, and it is very similar to the normal or to a normal PTC site, i have used quite a pt of them in the past and they have been really nice to use. But the disadvantage that i have with projects like this include:

1. The pay is usually very small and will take a very long time to get a reasonable amount of money from it.

2. Usually, it has limited ads, so will take many days or months to make a reasonable amount of money from it.

But why i really like your project more, is due to the fact that it will provide more ends to the user than the normal PTC methods, in that viewers will be able to get in their first glance what the site is talking about and thus more value is created for the money.

i pray this comes out soon will be very much willing to try it out.

So its basically a PTC site but with an added question to get people to actually pay attention to the sites they are visiting. Looks good. There are loads of these PTC sites out there so they must make money and appeal to a good number of people so if you can improve on the basic model they use then I think you're probably on to a winner.

My first impression is that I love this as an option for web developers, companies, and marketers to drive strong traffic to decrease bounce rates and improve SEO. I also find it useful tor reward users for offering quantitative feedback for projects and publishers' content.

One recommendation will be to have validated profiles for end-users to offer better demographic targeting for publishers. While I'm sure many will want to remain anonymous, I think you could attract more content publishers and web designers if they could aggregate their target demographic audience effectively to maximize feedback quality and value.

Again, my first impression is that this is a terrific project and a great idea. I would use Crowdclick as both an end-user and a marketer, and I will be watching this project closely.
