You all deserve the right for privacy and the possibility of anonymity and freedom within our means of communication. The ySign team introduces a platform that is borderless, secure, and fast providing online communication powered by the blockchain technology.

Our team is developing IOS and Android apps with a new type of messenger, which gives user full privacy, without data leaking or any storing of your personal data. Your chat is only shared by you and the person you are messaging. To facilitate this, we will provide features like calls, data sharing and video call.

Our app can protect your privacy fully, because messages will be stored on your device memory that means no data is stored in any database on any server. Every user will get his unique code, and find other people by their code. After finding the user you want to message, you communicate just through like any other messenger. For this we will use NEM secure message classes.

Please read our White Paper, and Technical Paper to find out more about our technology.

What are your thoughts about our app? What challenges and difficulties are we facing? And what advantages do we have over our competitors?

Please reflect on your opinion and provide explanations! We are looking forward to your contributions!

Well, it looks like I jumped the gun with the other task you gave us. I made some comments on potential technical problems you would run into but choosing to use NEM is a good move. Overall, I am quite impressed with both the technical and whitepapers. So, let me point out some short term difficulties: - The Crypto Market Now Is TERRIBLE! In particular, ICOs have been having a really tough time. Since your ICO is ending soon, have you thought about what steps you will take to adapt to the current market? What steps will you take to take advantage of when the market pumps again? - Name Brand Recognition And Competition. There have been only a handful of messenger apps who have tried to utilize blockchain, but none of them have made any kind of impact; especially when you compare them to the more widely used apps out there. Penetrating the market will be particular difficult over the next 6 months as you are just barely starting out.

This App can take the position of the discontinued tor messenger in terms of anonymity. it will be good it we can make use of the IOTA (tango) like technology. Moreover, There is a need of fraud control system in this app, As everything becomes almost 100% anonymous. I think it won't be much difficult to find its position in the market and there is a gap of these messengers. It's kinda hard to move the existing mass from whatsapp and signal.

I'm actually new into the crypto world, started trading a couple of months back. But going through your writeup, just have little question: From your message "Our app can protect your privacy fully, because messages will be stored on your device memory that means no data is stored in any database on any server. Every user will get his unique code, and find other people by their code. After finding the user you want to message, you communicate just through like any other messenger. For this we will use NEM secure message classes." Have we imagine, what if the person's phone is missing? How will he be able to reference to a previous communication. - completely making it decentralized without any retrieval access or know how will pose a challenge. - I suggest you can give it a database or make plans for retrieval in case of miss-placed phones

Ysign.io would be the best Channel of Communication if achieved,no more leakage of ones personal messages, calls and video calls. Here is my concern,I hope there will be recoverable means when the unique code lost or got missing, further more how can one recover ta stored on devices if such devices got missing?

How about when the code give is lost with the phone itself measures keep in place to retrieve our details when with new phone

Signification time spent with enterprise software companies

As I mentioned in my previous post on your last task; the biggest question I have is how do you plan taking that marketshare from your competition. I think your timing to the market is probably ideal with people not happy with facebook sharing their consumer's personal data. However that can't be your only angle as the sole reason why people should adopt your platform versus what people already. I would be looking for an additional unique feature that will help you differentiate (example Snapchat provided time sensitive messages / pictures, which a unique twist to "security"). I think your company will really struggle if you don't have one of these unique features yourself. I do believe privacy is important for chat and video apps. However I think user-experience is going to be the most important factor. I can't see much about your user experience besides a couple of screenshots of the user interface in the whitepaper so I would focus most of your efforts on making it a really easy clean user experience. Which markets do you plan to focus pushing adoption? I also believe you will want to create a concentrated region where you get your "homebase" users and then grow from there. People won't care about using the security features in your app if their friends aren't on it to chat with on it.

This interesting project can be "drive" depend on the pilot, wheter the pilot is good or not. My point is its very good for people who need privacy with a code, but maybe you should have backup plan when the code is gone so people feels secure later. For the bad people they can abuse your program to make the world worst, I don't know how to differentiate good or bad one, but you just really have to be careful. Maybe you have a regulation to open some suspicious person with an authorize letter (maybe from police ,FBI etc) so you have a back up to cover terrorist or unwanted person who use your project. And of course keep it secure we don't want Facebook accident happen again in yours. Best wishes and good luck

I think this idea is very good, data security is the number one I expect in using social media. Sometimes I think if the message I send must be recorded in the database provider of the application, of course it can lead to data leakage. Looking at the description of this app I am very excited to see it, because it offers extra security. I love it. I think the difficulty you will face mugkin about the popularity of this application, or the number of people who know about this application, because the majority of people already have their own favorite messenger application, but I'm sure this application will grow quickly. The superiority of your application to privacy is a privilege, full privacy for the user to give me a sense of security.

a good idea about applications with blockchain technology. if the message is stored in the device, it means the device must have a very large memory capacity. when the memory is full, the user will replace the old memory with the new one. for this change, the data in the old memory will not exist in the new memory. all previous data chat will be lost on the smartphone. friend connections may also be lost. Its superiority is secure data stored on smartphones.

This innovation will be incredible if it come to stay and make a turn around in the telecommunications industries. But my concern is, how will you educate the illiterate or the people living in the rural area on this new development

I like the app and also the fact to store the data on the users phone instead of having it all centralized on your servers. But I don't see the point for having a token or using the blockchain technology. Would it not be possible to create this app without the blockchain or using any token?

Hello, yahuza, "It looks like a promising project" is a unrelated comment to the task, since the task asks: "Please reflect on your opinion and provide explanations!" and it also ask " What challenges and difficulties are we facing? And what advantages do we have over our competitors?"

You didn't answer none of these questions mentioned in the task. According to our code of conduct, this is a spam.

Please keep in mind, this platform is built for co-creation between businesses and the public. Your comment should produce added values to the project. So please provide meaningful content next time. I have to remove your comment, according to our code of conduct.

Well, it looks like I jumped the gun with the other task you gave us. I made some comments on potential technical problems you would run into but choosing to use NEM is a good move. Penetrating the market will be particular difficult over the next 6 months as you are just barely starting out. And now, I have two suggestions: - Time a huge marketing push to coincide with the next bull run in the crypto market and target those in the crypto world first. - Jump on the crypto conference bandwagon to show off the app. This might seem strangely specific, but the timing is perfect. Target the Global Blockchain Conference in Dubai on May 7 - 8 and Consensus 2018 in New York on May 14 - 16th, they are setting up to be HUGE ones.

I'm sure ySign could be the top choice for business people, because the security level is high enough. I really hope ySign succeed in launching its application

Your unique selling proposition is complete anonymity and unparalleled security and privacy in exchanging information and direct communication. That in itself is a big factor in capturing a big chunk of the market, and with the biggest social media and communications platforms feeling the market fallout as repercussion from the FB data breach scandal, the timing couldn't be more perfect. The hurdles, I imagine, is that a product that occupies one side of completely opposite poles can be devisive in terms of public opinion. On one hand have the revolutionaries that embrace complete freedom of speech, in the middle are the moderates, and the opposite pole occupied by the conservatives, the ones that put a premium on accountability and also a rabid fear of platforms that can be used to aid terrorism and a full spectrum of criminal activities. You cannot possibly please everyone with such a disruptive technology, and therefore should not expect a massive migration of the market towards your product at the onset. The mass adoption would depend on your ability to focus your awareness campaign on the correct demographics that are predisposed to embrace your concept. And from there, move to capture the moderates before moving on to the late adopters and skeptics. My personal take is that I like your proposition and that the market will ultimately realize the value that you are bringing to the table. It would all depend on how effective your communications effort would be and avoid falling into the trap of group think and be more consultative and inclusive in your approach, which means not just reach out to your captive market, but also reach out to those with little to no knowledge of blockchain and other relevant technologies.

I love the idea of the right for privacy esp if you are sending personal information. It's giving me the feeling of security to do transactions that require my password, credit info, ID. But my concern is, if you are saying that you would give a certain code only and we have to use the code. What if i will lose my code, can I still recover my account? You're advantage is people will use your platform if they want to go incognito. But what if someone (terrorist, druglords, etc) will use your platform? What are your plans to preventing people on using you to create terror?
